Oh those lovely lawsuits

Aya reached out to slap her alarm clock and pulled the covers over her head. She really didn't want to get out of bed today. The very idea of going into the courtroom scared her. Yes, she'd have to get over that eventually, but suing...suing just gave her the creeps. It felt like things were out of hand. Out of control.

She hated that feeling.

That meant she wanted to stay in bed. Sadly, she could smell coffee. And the snooze button wasn't where it was suppose to be...in fact, her alarm wasn't where it was suppose to be. "The hell?" she muttered from within the blankets.

Dilan snorts, "Oh no I'm not. You're closer to it."

Not if she went to the bathroom! "That's not fair...besides, I have to move to sit behind Braig when I'm done eating!" and she could totally pick up the pace on that!

"Fine, fine. If you're brushing hair, I'll change the video."

Braig just smugs. Hundred bucks to not have to do anything? Small change.

"Deal!" she grinned and...dished up more food. She was hungry! "He's grinning isn't he?" she tilted her head back trying to see Braig's face.

"Nah. He's doing that thing where he's only smiling with his eyes."

[mitochondriaaya]

"Oh, stealth grinning. Smugly stealth grinning I bet." she said it fondly of course.

"Smug like a smug thing."

[mitochondriaaya]

"Of course" Braig was...really good at that. "It's forgivable though."

"Yeah." Dilan says, smiling fondly at the short one.

Aya finished her meal somewhere in the middle of the movie and slipped off to put her dishes in the sink...then came back to slide in behind Braig on the couch. "Ready lemur?"

"Ready, monkey." he says, closing his eyes and leaning forwards just a bit.

Dilan snorts and changes the film.

Aya just chuckled and pulled him back so he could lay with his head in her lap. It was easier to brush it all out if she didn't have to reach...plus if he fell asleep he wouldn't nose dive. They didn't need to deal with that today too! "want help with your hair tomorrow Dilan?"

"That would be great." Dilan says from the floor, "I brought the stuff just in case."

"More of that planning ahead thing." she chuckled, starting in on Braig's hair happily. She liked playing with hair! "Oh...this isn't going to end well." she noted after watching the first few minutes of Street Trash.

"That's fine." the boys chime, "Train wrecks are awesome." That's Dilan.

[mitochondriaaya]

"Selling mystery booze to winos! That's not a train wreck it's a...bike wreck at best." she snickered and then bent her attention to a knot she'd found.

"...That booze just melted that wino." Dilan says while Aya's attention is on the (rare) knot.

Of course they were rare...damn beautiful hair and it's lack of tangling. That was why she was careful when she found them! "It's just some script writer fantasizing about house cleaning!"

"...Better ways to do it." Dilan says, with a sigh. Killin' off people willy-nilly has never appealed to me."

[mitochondriaaya]

"Good ways or bad it's still illegal and usually signifies psychosis." Aya pointed out, waving the brush at the screen "Bet this guy never wrote another script because he was arrested!"

"I meant clean things up. Better ways to clean things up than killing people."

[mitochondriaaya]

"Well, yeah, that too." Aya chuckled, wrist deep in hair again "Want to rewrite it with a scientist and a intel serum or something?"

"Nope." Dilan says, firmly, "I am not a good writer of interesting things. Unless you like technical stuff."

[mitochondriaaya]

"I could pitch it at the film kids...see what they come up with." and that was how bad horror films were born!

"So you could!" he says with a smile.
