Oh those lovely lawsuits

Aya reached out to slap her alarm clock and pulled the covers over her head. She really didn't want to get out of bed today. The very idea of going into the courtroom scared her. Yes, she'd have to get over that eventually, but suing...suing just gave her the creeps. It felt like things were out of hand. Out of control.

She hated that feeling.

That meant she wanted to stay in bed. Sadly, she could smell coffee. And the snooze button wasn't where it was suppose to be...in fact, her alarm wasn't where it was suppose to be. "The hell?" she muttered from within the blankets.

She bent to kiss his forehead after passing her bags to Dilan, then ran back to fetch a brush. This way she'd have it at hand once they were done eating! "Well...it started rough." she admitted when she came back. "It's getting better."

"Yeah, but you get light for one screw up." he says, shifting until he's got himself comfortable.

Dilan brings the food out and sets it out to look pretty. He does that.

"That and Dilan cooks better." she grinned and sat on the floor leaning against Braig's legs. She'd sit up on the couch after eating! "Oh...wait. movies!" yes, she was popping back up and picking a box blindly.

Dilan settles down next to Braig and says, "Well. Yeah." and grins at his best friend.

"I don't believe it. Dilaaaaaaaaan, I didn't mean to summon it!"

"You are never again allowed to mention this film." Dilan says, swatting her hair gently.

"I...I didn't think it existed!" she sighed, rubbing her headd and settling back with her plate. "How...how could the film industry do this?!" sure, it would never be mentioned again...so she had to get it all out now!

Dilan looks at Braig with a glare. Braig grins and says, "Hey, it's like. Distracting."

"You are a cruel man Braig." Aya giggled and stole a piece of chicken from Dilan's plate "Cruel and twisted"

Dilan makes a face at Aya and shifts his plate away from her. "Mine, monkey. Grr."

She stuck her tongue out then reached up to snitch from Braig "You say that like I won't share." she pouted. Witness her holding out a bit of her own beef on chopsticks!

"I say that like your meal has sucrose in it." he says, making a face, "Not a lot, but mine is tastier to me."

[mitochondriaaya]

"Oh fine." she held the same bit of beef up to Braig "I won't steal any more chicken." tonight anyway.

"Thank you, princess." Dilan says, smiling and leaning back. Braig, however, snaps up the bit and offers a slice of pork in return.

"You're welcome kitten." Aya poked him with her foot and fell into food sharing with Braig happily. Interactive meal times were fun? And it helped distract from the movie! THE MOVIE!.

"Actually look this time." Dilan insists, firmly.

[mitochondriaaya]

"Okay" Aya settled her attention back on the movie and grinned "Did I miss anything important?"

"No, but you put it in, you better suffer with the rest of us."

[mitochondriaaya]

"You're totally putting in the next one." she grumbled "Unless this kills us, then you're off the hook."

Dilan snorts, "Oh no I'm not. You're closer to it."

Not if she went to the bathroom! "That's not fair...besides, I have to move to sit behind Braig when I'm done eating!" and she could totally pick up the pace on that!

"Fine, fine. If you're brushing hair, I'll change the video."

Braig just smugs. Hundred bucks to not have to do anything? Small change.

[mitochondriaaya]

"Deal!" she grinned and...dished up more food. She was hungry! "He's grinning isn't he?" she tilted her head back trying to see Braig's face.

"Nah. He's doing that thing where he's only smiling with his eyes."

[mitochondriaaya]

"Oh, stealth grinning. Smugly stealth grinning I bet." she said it fondly of course.
