Aya cracked an eye open and peered blearily up at the ceiling. Still daylight, still boiling outside...and she was still awake. Damn. The bungalow was catching a nice breeze, the roof gave her shade, but today had dawned hot and gotten hotter. She was seriously considering switching over to nocturnal for a day or two...

...wouldn't be too hard she hadn't really been sleeping at night anyway. "Hey," she murmured against Dilan's chest. He was a great pillow and she was touched that he'd stayed sprawled with her when Braig felt like catching a few waves. Truly touched. That sunlight out there was a big temptation for her kitten! "We have to find Braig a ring."

"You've known that since before you knew the word." Braig pointed out cheerfully.

"Yes, doesn't make it any less true." At all in fact! "I can't complain really though, it gets us silk sheets."

"Mmm, silk." Dilan said, cheerfully, "Although got to love the jersey ones in the winter."

[mitochondriaaya]

"Yes, and the flannel ones after long outdoor shifts in storm season." She sighed blissfully at the memory. "Still, never would have considered silk sheets on my own."

"Yeahhhh." Braig agreed. He did love his silk...but it wasn't very warm.

She finally let go of his hand so she could reach across the table once more to stroke cheeks before standing. "I'm going to check and see what we have for making a picnic lunch." for when they went hiking. "Better to learn we need groceries now."

"After dinner." Dilan said repressively, "It's eating time right now."

She glanced down at her plate and blinked. She'd honestly thought she'd finished! Apparently she was distractable lately. "Sorry!"

Nope, still little bits of salad to chase around her plate.

"It's okay, it's a fun idea."

[mitochondriaaya]

She chased them dutifully and finished them off before chuckling. "It's nice to feel excited." Not frantic, not desperately grasping at something free, just...excited!

"It's beautiful to see you excited." Dilan said, reaching over to stroke her cheek, "Elements, it's beautiful to see."

[mitochondriaaya]

"Not going to be jealous of sharing our time with others?" she asked teasingly. "We've had a bit of paradise here..."

[sliceitwithwind]

"Nah." Dilan said, leaning over farther to kiss her lightly, "I get you for the rest of our lives."

[mitochondriaaya]

"Yeah, there is that," she grinned goofily for a moment and chuckled. "I swear you guys have turned me into a sap."

"Nah." Braig said, "We just tapped into the hidden well of natural sap."

[mitochondriaaya]

Yes, she stared then cracked the hell up. "Tapped? I've been tapped?! Ouch, you're terrible!"

"Tapped repeatedly." Braig leered.

"And we're going to do it again, and again." Dilan agreed.

[mitochondriaaya]

"That's us," she mock-sighed and lifted her wrist to her forehead. "Trapped in such a romantic relationship!" Snerk.

"Mmm, again and again and again."

Her men gave her a pair of equally lecherous grins, yup.

She licked her lips slowly under those looks and leaned forward to...gather empty plates. Then she sashayed to the sink! "You know, I think I was warned about guys like you..." she laughed from out of range.

"I know you were." Braig said, following her and filling his hands with her sides, "By me."

[mitochondriaaya]

She swayed happily under his hands, happy to dance a little as she washed plates. "Yes, as I recall there was some serious 'They're bad news babe' in there..." she teased.

"Mmmhmmm." Braig agreed, swaying with her while Dilan watched them with pleasure, "We still are. We're just your bad news."

[mitochondriaaya]

"My own personal bad news squad huh?" she tilted her head back to nibble his chin before rinsing a plate. "And here I was thinking you were worried about competition when I was younger."

"Well, yeah." Braig allowed, nuzzling her neck, "Doesn't change the fact."
