Aya cracked an eye open and peered blearily up at the ceiling. Still daylight, still boiling outside...and she was still awake. Damn. The bungalow was catching a nice breeze, the roof gave her shade, but today had dawned hot and gotten hotter. She was seriously considering switching over to nocturnal for a day or two...

...wouldn't be too hard she hadn't really been sleeping at night anyway. "Hey," she murmured against Dilan's chest. He was a great pillow and she was touched that he'd stayed sprawled with her when Braig felt like catching a few waves. Truly touched. That sunlight out there was a big temptation for her kitten! "We have to find Braig a ring."

"Well, yeah." Braig allowed, nuzzling her neck, "Doesn't change the fact."

"And what does my bad news crew plan?" she laughed. "Because I thought you guys were rather benevolent recently..." And necks nibbles were awesome!

Yes, she had to scrub the next plate twice.

"All kinds of things they can't show on prime time." Braig offered.

Dilan chuckled, "And a couple that most late-night won't show either."

Yes, she couldn't help it, she ended up giggling delightedly again. Yep. Her boys were so much trouble...

...so a rule! Kind of! "I have to be able to surf tonight! As does anyone else who wants to come out with me!"

She got twin chortles, "Fine, fine. We'll save some of it for after surfing."

[mitochondriaaya]

Those twin chortles made the fine hairs on the back of her neck stand up! "Now I'll feel all guilty if I surf too long..." she teased. "That or I'll really miss you. We're bad at this learning to have our own space again thing!"

"We can wait." Dilan said, leaning back in his chair with a creak, "And you know I've never liked not being with you."

[mitochondriaaya]

"This is true..." Aya agreed. "And I may have been partially insane when I was living on my own but still. You'd think we'd manage a few hours!" Nah.

Was it time to set the last dish down and turn in Braig's arms so she could start walking him backward to Dilan? Yes it was! "I bet you taste like the sea right now..."

"Probably." Braig agreed, walking backwards happily.

"Probably," she grinned and licked his chin gently. "Yep. And you still have a wetsuit on. Shamefully ignoring your own rules?" she laughed and pushed him onto Dilan's lap.

"Well you did drag me in straight from the beach." Braig pointed out, "Guess you'll have to strip me." Dilan grinned at that and leaned down to suck gently on one pointed ear.

It really was down to Aya, Braig was temporarily boneless.

"I did but you had plenty of time between setting the board down and....and he's gone!" she laughed and eased down the zipper of his suit, peeling the rubber away so Dilan could tease if he liked. "Hmmm, migrate to the bathtub soon? He's amazing fresh from the ocean but..." salt.

"Sounds good to me." Dilan agreed around his mouth full of ear.

She laughed and ran hands along Braig's chest in order to slip the suit off his arms then peeled it off his legs by simply holding onto the rubber and slipping backwards with a happy sigh. "You two are gorgeous you know...I'll start the water. Be right back"

Dilan gave a thumbs up and started shifting Braig so that he could carry the smaller man to the bath. Yeah.

This was a good vacation.

It was exactly what they needed in a vacation! From the lazy days to the surf filled night, to curling up in bed next to Braig again and waiting for him to wake up so they could hear about the hike opportunities he'd promised to look up.

Why yes, it was fun to draw patterns on his back and across Dilan's thighs as she watched their fiance sleep!

Dilan had an arm curled around Aya's shoulders, watching Braig as well. The smaller man was using Aya's shoulder as a pillow.

She grinned and kissed Dilan's wrist before tracing a multigrid tic-tac-toe board on Braig. Why not play a game? It kept them amused!

Dilan grinned back and put an X in the centre.

Aya stifled a giggle and wiggled around enough to reach out a bottle of massage oil from the bedside. This way she could keep track of her moves easier and Braig would complain less when he woke up!

Yes, an O went under the X. Where was the fun in spreading into the other linked boards before they had to?

Dilan laughed and continued the game quietly. Braig mumbled something in his sleep and settled in more deeply.

Aya had to turn and muffle another laugh in the crook of her arm when Braig stirred, helpless giggles shivering through her for several moments before she could make another move. Maybe next ime they'd use Sharpie markers on their beau? See how detailed they could get before he awoke...

Dilan chortled silently and stroked Braig's hair to help him settle back deeper.

"Don't laugh!" she mouthed quietly. "Then I'll keep laughing!" And they'd be doomed! Hmmm, needed more boards. Time to trace them toward Braig's hips!

"He is such a deep sleeper." Dilan said softly, Braig completely ignoring them.
