Kyle gets himself SHOT.
Aug. 7th, 2012 10:53 pmIt was a cold, grey day in January. The slush of plowed snow had refrozen into inky banks and the alley crime had generally moved to the streets and sidewalks due to the amount of snow between buildings. This made for a busy, miserable time in the precinct. Rotten as the precinct was it still had to pound streets when crime escalated.
Darlene and Kyle were street beating, questioning people about a new set of arsons with a different MO than the last they had closed. Darlene spotted Traver and Breaker before Kyle did and offered a smile, but then the street went quiet, the bystanders going still as people noticed a sudden abundance of gang gear.
Aya clicked to the situation a step ahead of Kyle, but Darlene...wouldn't. So she shifted her stance a fraction in case she had to drop or tackle anyone.
Then there was just the waiting really.
