She snarled something unsavory about the idiocy of anti-lock breaks as she slammed the car into the lowest gear possible to dump speed. It wasn't pretty, and it wasn't textbook, but the car didn't leave the road and she managed to slew them around so the rear taillights smashed into the stalled car instead of anything head on.
