"You did what now?" Aya yelped as she slammed several files down on her desk. It had been a long day at the end of a long week. Normal for them, but still, long. It left her temper a little short as she spun to face her sister. Her smug sister.

"Canceled the appointments for next week. Or rather, rescheduled. That's why we had double loads this week. You didn't notice?" Oh yes, Maya was a sneaky little witch. Utterly and completely responsible for their heavy work load!

"I thought the hospital was cracking down again, sending us more cases." It had happened before! She was suppose to be able to trust her sister! That meant trusting the schedules.

"Nope!" And that was good news right??

"I'm going to hurt you." Aya said mildly as she pulled open the closet for her change of clothes. "I'll let you start running now."

This...this could work out to her advantage! Maya dropped her armload of files on the small couch, pulled her tennis shoes out of the closet, then ran out the door. She knew where the boys were waiting after all!

Both men snorted at her, and Dilan bopped her ass as she dove into the car.

"Yup." Dilan said with that slow smile of his, "We're going camping. You did promise that you'd go with us at some point...Maya just found the right point. D' you want shotgun?"

"Maya shifted my patient list around AND made this week hell." That wasn't 'finding the right point' that was BEING A SNEAKY BITCH! "Double patient load for a week!!" Not that the smile wasn't helping with some of the sibling rage...

...and the jeans...

"How long is the drive?" Maya asked Braig from the back seat.

"Come on, Aya." Dilan offered his arms for a hug, "How about I promise foot rubs when we get there? And supper. We've got a weeks worth of stuff that the two of you can eat."

Braig peered at the map one last time, "About four hours. The good news is that it's far enough out that it's just going to be the four of us, and we get our own waterfall."

"I'm still very annoyed." Aya stated just for the record before accepting hugs. "She should have told me and then I might have shifted few emergency room things around." She really was just grumbling now.

"Oh, good. That's long enough for Aya to nap and then a waterfall is awesome. Do you think it'll be warm enough to swim?" Maya lifted her head to peek out the window and sighed "And how come you two actually can actually talk her down? It's no fair!"

Dilan wrapped her up and lifted so that he wouldn't get a back ache, burying his nose in her hair. "So shotgun? Or in the back next to your sister?" he asked, disinclined to let go until she makes up her mind.

"Hormones, probably." Braig informed Maya with a laugh, "You know, our sexy, badass selves."

"Shotgun," she muttered against Dilan's neck before giving up and kissing him. "I'm not that happy with her." Not happy enough for a long car trip next to her anyway!

"Still not fair." Maya laughed, finally sitting up once it seemed Aya was fully distracted. "I need to ambush her with you guys more often." she leaned forward to rest her chin on Braig's shoulder and grinned.

Braig twisted around and kissed Maya's cheek, "Any time." he said happily before twisting back around to fold up the map. After a couple of moments Dilan plucked the map away and folded it neatly, along the lines.

"It's a gift." he said to Braig's fondly annoyed glare. Then Dilan slipped into the back seat to buckle up and offer his arm to Maya.

"We'll have to start planning something else for after the camping." Maya chuckled then settled back in her seat, twisting just enough to drape her legs over Dilan's lap once he was in. She had finally adjusted to being near the boys, it meant she liked touching them, so she was making up for lost time!

Aya slid into the drivers seat and reached over to trace Braig's ear as a hello. "So, where are we going?"

He could accept that! Dilan's fingers took her shoes off and he started rubbing her feet, for something to do on the ride. She could handle four hours of this, right?

Braig groaned, deeply and raggedly, as her finger traced along the point and then dragged his attention back to what he was doing, "Tease. We're headed about halfway up Mt. Chocobo, past Weeping Springs" the nearest resort town, "and then along a private road to an area that a friend owns."

Yes, Maya could certainly handle four hours of that! Where 'handle' meant melting into a pile of goo held up by a seat buckle but hey, it was a form of coping!

"Huh, that's actually an area we've never headed out toward," Aya admitted. "And you're a lot of fun to tease. If you hadn't had a steering wheel in front of you you'd have gotten a hello kiss too."

Dilan grinned at his melting girlfriend and kept right on doing what he was doing. "It's a beautiful spot. Zack is seriously fanatic about keeping it clean, so it looks totally untouched."

"Ma-an. I am so getting that kiss at the first rest stop." Braig informed Aya.

Maya had enough muscle control left to wiggle her toes? That about summed up her ability to move. "Zack...have we met him?" She was curious about their friends and lives, after all it seemed like they'd be keeping them a while.

"Duly noted." Aya chuckled and wiggled until she was comfortable in the seat. "I can take a turn driving too if you like."

"Mmmm, not yet." Dilan says after a minute, "He's a college friend, and an accountant. Nice guy, though. We'll invite him to the next outdoor party, how's that?"

Braig thinks about it, then nods, "Yeah, it'd be nice to take a break or two. Dilan has no intention of learning to drive."

"Heyyyy, an accountant." Maya perked up at that. "Our accountant retired last year. Remind em to ask him if he's willing to accept new clients." Because, honestly, she'd forget over the course of the camping trip, much less before the next outdoor party.

"Well, cars aren't really built for him." Aya felt obligated to point that out in Dilan's defense! "And I don't think Maya will let him switch up front anyway."

"No problem." Dilan agreed, poking at her ankles and moving the massage up to them. Doctors and nurses spent so much time on their feet, after all.

"Yeah, you're probably right babe. She seems more than content back there. I think I'm behind on boyfriend points now."

If it was possible Maya melted even more, the seat belt hitting her chin as she tried to get more of her legs into Dilan's lap. "Thanks, you're an angel." She murmured happily.

Aya laughed at that and leaned over to lay her head on his shoulder "You're driving us to what all accounts claim as an ideal camping spot. That's points for you I promise."

"Nah, just a good boyfriend." Dilan said with a laugh, working his way up her calves happily. Best day to date was the one she let him touch her, if you ask him.

"Awesome." said Braig, "You get to taste my best cooking this weekend, we brought meats you can eat and I run the barbecue."

"Can I at least nominate you for sainthood?" Maya teased, more than willing to do so at this point. She was definitely glad she'd had time to acclimate too.

Aya chuckled, partly about the silliness in the back seat and partly at Braig. "And you weren't cooking your best when you had the barbecue out earlier in the year? I bet all your party guests are heartbroken."

That got another deep laugh out of Dilan, "If you want. I'll accept payment in kisses, too." Really he just liked making the others feel good.

Braig laughed as well, the two voices mingling easily, "Babe, there is something about a cookfire that makes everything taste better."

There was a moment when both girls just tilted their heads and listened happily to that laughter. It was a good sound, even within the confines of a car. Maya then grinned and poked Dilan with her foot. "I hereby name you Saint Dilan, who will get kisses when I can move again."

"Ah, free range cooking. The way it was always meant to be? I feel privileged now." Aya stayed with her head on his shoulder for a bit longer before giving in to the pull of the seat belt and sitting back properly.

"I win." Dilan says cheerfully, but not smugly. "We only brought one tent, is that all right with you two? It's a big tent." Has to be to fit Dilan in it.

Braig grins, without looking away. He's a damn safe driver, as safe with a car as he is insane about everything else.

Well, that was one of those interesting questions wasn't it? They were comfortable with the boys, and Maya could finally touch them, but just about everything beyond kissing had been on hold until Maya acclimated. Given that Aya just glanced over the seat, leaving that answer up to her sister.

Maya took her time thinking about that before finally nodding. "Yeah, it'll be alright. Aya and I tend to puppy pile, hope you guys don't mind."

"Awesome." Braig said with a grin, "I mean, it's big enough that the two of you could get on one end without touching us? But a pile is awesome."

"I get cold" Dilan said with a grin.

"We'll see how things work out." Maya shrugged. "Though we may wiggle too much to make decent blankets for you desert man."

"Horribly wiggly." Aya agreed. "I'm sure there's some complicated reason for it involving reactions to stimuli that aren't great enough to wake us, but I never really bothered to look into it."
