"Go! MOVE MOVE MOVE MAYA! Grab the bags!" Aya laughed, pounding through the door to the house with barely a pause to identify for security.

"I'm moving! I am! You...keep watch."

Aya nodded and spun once her sister was past, going to a knee to check her shoe laces and...watching the route behind them. They'd gotten the weird 'being followed' vibe again so, a bit of watching while Maya loaded up. "Anyone home?" she called while waiting, getting an excited bark from Sheeva.

Yes, Sheeva was a good dog.

"Quick work!" They approved! And...had to get cleaned up before cooking yes.

Pierce, for his part, was in his lab, collating images from the security footage around the house with student files! "Anyone take potshots?" he asked when Dilan drifted in.

"No." Dilan said sadly, "But I did get some good face views...want to see if your machine can read me? It'd be better than collecting an art student. They don't like me much."

Sometimes inspiring a Bio student was. Bad.

"Yeah, the last one got all teary and stuff didn't they?" Pierce snorted and turned to start fiddling among the stuff on his workbench. The nuero-net was there somewhere! "Babies. If it can read you at all I'll have to plug the visual data into the simulator!"

Oh no! So sad!

"Yeah. I don't understand artists." Dilan settled down in the only chair in the lab that would hold him, and pondered, "I don't understand most people."

[mitochondriaaya]

"That's because people are generally messy and illogical. And the same stimulus has vastly different results!" What was up with that?! Fucking people. "Okay, contacts go at your temples and forehead....shouldn't hurt!"

"Yeah." Dilan agreed, settling a little deeper and allowing Pierce to hook him up as needed, "Just tell me what I need to do."

[mitochondriaaya]

"Okay, let's make sure the visual interface is working, think of Braig?" If there was anyone that Dilan knew the details of, it was Braig. "If that comes up clear on screen we'll walk through your escort mission!"

Dilan nodded and there was a flash of more of Braig than Pierce wanted to see, happily mostly blurred by the fact that Dilan's brain worked, well. Oddly, to be blunt.

After a minute, though, of concentration on things he got a fairly decent version of Braig's face, if with weird colouring and a couple of odd jags here and there.

Thankfully Pierce was a little prepared for that and had clipboard to stare at! Yep! Clipboard. "Alright, good...colors weird but I think that's your sight translating to a standard spectrum. We can fiddle that in post..." Maybe.

"It looks normal to me." Dilan said with a soft huff, "But I see Katzu, not Olia."

[mitochondriaaya]

"Exactly, and the software for facial recognition tends to be in a Human or Olia standard spectrum," he hummed to himself. Still, it was kind of cool really. "Alright, want to start with when you were leaving the house? See if anyone was watching for you as well?"

"Sure." Dilan said, closing his eyes to help himself visualize well. There was some static for a bit and then the memories started showing up. There was no-one until he got close to the place the girls were, and then he started picking out faces.

Just bland, ordinary faces that caught his predator's attention as not right and focused on the girls.

Pierce hummed and mumbled equations sometimes, but the moment detailed faces started showing up he was taking screen captures. "Got it, onward. Next...huh, I've seen that guy before. Not on the security footage around the house though. Probably one of my classes..."

"Stop talking." Dilan said plaintively, "I'm trying not to think about the way your voice looks."

[mitochondriaaya]

"Right!" The synethesia thing. HE WANTED TO PROGRAM THAT TOO SOME DAY YES! Coming up on the battlefield the two opposing frat houses had created...

Huh. "They had a ring watching?" Those were...eight people standing out to Dilan. Wow.

"Yes." Dilan said, sniffing a little, "I haven't used anything on them yet. Maybe you could make a tracker?"

[mitochondriaaya]

"The girls were a priority tonight," he pointed out. It was a good reason nothing had been used on the watchers yet! "And yeah, sure. Is that it or were there more on the way back?"

[sliceitwithwind]

"Same ones." Dilan said, "Pretty sure there are more people, but they weren't watching tonight."

[mitochondriaaya]

"We'll get them all eventually!" Pierce was cheerfully philosophical about it. Dilan was a hunter, they were all students at KAOS. Some things were just inevitable!

"You can unhook, I've got screen caps."

"Is there a particular order?" Dilan asked before reaching for things.

[mitochondriaaya]

"Just chronological, think we can sort a power set with them? Figure out who's leading by how they appeared and interacted?" He wasn't certain they had enough data for that but they could try!

"Probably." Dilan said, "Braig and I are crazy smart, and you're a genius too."

[techie_prowess]

"With more or less crazy in my case?" he grinned and spun his chair around so he start applying filters to the pictures until the facial recognition program could ID the proper points. "What's your money on?"

Dilan thought about it for a moment and eventually said, "You're not as crazy as I am, but crazier than Braig is. The girls are saner than the rest of us."

A small, trilling noise as he thought, "Also very smart, but not as smart as us. I wonder if smart and crazy are linked. I should do a study on that..."

[techie_prowess]

"I think someone already did a study on that!" he pointed out cheerfully. "That's why there's watch lists and stuff, though, it's probably the psychological basis behind breaks in high intel...might want to look at genetic disposition to such?"
