One of the disadvantages of a long term under cover operation was...falling out of physical peak. Darlene's laughable excursions to the gym prevented even decent weight runs for Aya and that meant she had to improvise. Sparring with Braig helped, a great deal, he was an excellent combatant, but no one should be expected to be a sole source of training for anyone.

It was exhausting to be frank, and they couldn't afford that level of fatigue when Kyle could stop by at any moment. And Dilan simply wasn't in her weight class at all, he couldn't help, as much as she'd be willing to try some days.

That meant...she started taking over the livingroom four days out of seven. Taking over and being grateful she was short enough that a full leg extension above her head didn't brush the ceiling. Kyle couldn't complain if he caught her dancing after all. Darlene liked dancing, and it was no stretch to believe she'd rock out at home if she couldn't justify a club outing.

It was absurdly easy to drop from actual dance poses and movements to club dance poses when a knock sounded. She wouldn't be up to competition level when this mission was through but she would be fit. And the boys were welcome to watch or join as long as they didn't stop her.

They all had their sanity maintenance needs after all.

"Well, to be honest, I ogle all my friends except the ones who are made uncomfortable by it." Dilan said, "Most of 'em are pretty good with it."

Sheeva got all the belly rubs, she did.

"Part of a you thing or part of a katzu watch things, thing?" Aya asked, curious. "And you don't mind being ogled back right?" He'd have said so hopefully!

"That is a me thing." Dilan admitted, "I really, really like people's bodies even if I'm not going to be sexing them up. I'm also a little vain. Not like Braig is vain, but vain."

"I could see that," and she could! There were days she liked just watching people move, it was soothing, in a way. "And you have every right to vanity. You're drop dead gorgeous after all and that gives you some right!"

"Heh. Flatterer." Dilan said...he was only a very tiny bit vain! Mostly he thought of himself as overly large and hairy.

"Mmm, no, I don't tend to pass out unwarranted flattery." Aya smiled, a slow curl of lips that was more commonly associated with belly dancing than her previous, cheerful calm one. "Trust me on that."

Whimper. Soft little whimper. Sheeva better not be intending to go anywhere any time soon, nope.

Yeah, she caught that sound and winced, falling back into calm face. Calm was good, calm was easy. She'd just meant to be reassuring! "Sorry!"

"No, no, it's fine. You're just really rather attractive."

[mitochondriaaya]

Yeah, now she felt like a tease. A blushing, belly dancing tease! She needed to burn energy though. "Thank you."

"Thank you." Dilan said in return, grinning lopsidedly at her.

She laughed at that and finished with a hip snap. "I'm going to practice every other day or so in here if you want to be here."

"Count on it." Dilan promised, "Because that was one of the hottest things I've seen in months."

[mitochondriaaya]

"I might, this is the nicest I've felt in months." Nothing like some honest, untainted appreciation to help right? Right. "You're a good audience. And Sheeva's a good pup."

"Sheeva is a very good, very understanding dog." Dilan agreed.

Sheeva was a LAP DOG DIDN'T THEY SEE THAT?! Wag wag wag went that tail!

"Alright, I've put off chores long enough it seems, much fun as this is. What hasn't been done Dilan?" She had learned very early it was best to ask him before trying to start something!

"Mopping the kitchen and cleaning the bathroom." Dilan said promptly, "I'll get the bathroom if you get the kitchen."

"Yes sir!" She saluted him cheerfully then bent to tug on Sheeva's tail. "C'mon you spoiled thing, we have things to do!"

Sheeva was SAD PUPPY but she got down and followed Aya, at which point Dilan got up to do the bathroom. He whistled as he did so, that was a very entertaining talk.
