Aya stormed through the door and screamed in rage, kicking her school bag ahead of her because it was safe to kick. Seriously, her backpack wouldn't explode.

"Calm down!" Maya sighed, closing the door behind her sister. "We fixed it. And if you kick that bag anymore you'll have to shopping for a new one. You hate shopping."

"DON'T BE REASONABLE AT ME!"

"OKAY FINE!" Maya grumped and booted her sister's bag back at her. "So what do we do?"

"...COOKIES."

Maya nodded, toeing her shoes off before tackling her sister. "Like you could make cookies in this state!"

"COULD TOO!"

It was a sibling thing okay?

Dilan nodded and turned towards making dinner. It was better now that he knew what to do. It was always better when he knew what to do...especially when "science it" was off the table. "Okay. He doesn't like the orange flavour."

"Make lots of the green. He likes those best." Dilan said, nodding and turning to the 'fridge to see what meat he had available. Rabbit, no. Too hard to digest. That for himself. Chicken easiest to digest, but... "Should he have fowl or should it be beef?" Dilan asked, sliding the rabbit into a pan to soak up some sherry before slicing vegetables.

"I can do that." he agreed, dumping a chicken into one of the crockpots...somewhere along the line he'd ended up with four of them. One lived in the lab. "Hmmm. I should develop a line of mini-cows that can get more exercise than the big ones do. Might help with..." he wandered off into his own little world of SCIENCE and food.

"We still probably don't have enough room for them." he said contemplatively, "Even little cows need a lot of space."

"Um, well." he stared into the distance for a bit, "Using really sloppy math you need about twenty acres for about ten cows, so if we cut the cows by a third we're looking at about six acres for ten mini-cows, which would still be about 400 pounds a cow. So if you have just one mini-cow you'd need about .6 acres, which is 26,136 square feet, just of foraging area, plus barn area, plus house area."

"If you get that small it's not even a snack." Dilan pointed out, blinking, "It's just...a really lumpy horderv."

"Except that then you'd need three; a male to stud, a female to give birth, and the calf that would make the female produce milk. You'd need a whole different genetic tweak to make cows that give...milk...without..." his gaze went "SCIENCE!!!!!!!" distant.

Dilan nodded a couple of times, wandering off to collect Braig and a blanket while murmuring things about milk yield and on and on. Braig, as he was carried to the couch, called out; "What is he talking about? Does anyone know?"

"Oh, elements, not more 4H stuff." Braig moaned before being settled on his boyfriend's lap, "Nah, no tastes out of the ordinary."

"I'm still going to work on mini-cows with great milking potential." Dilan said, "If I can make them cost-effective it'd make it easier for poor people to get healthy milk."

"How about that Equestria Girls film?"

Dilan nodded absently and settled down to watch the movie, still thinking about his mini-cows to be. It was possibly the most calming, least dangerous thing that he'd ever thought about making.

Braig set the movie up and then took his seat on Dilan's lap, expecting the twins to figure out where they wanted to drape themselves.

"Probably." Braig allowed as the credits started then teasingly stated, "I'm really glad that I'm rich enough to cover the gaps when it comes to feeding all of us." teasingly because he knew that the others would pay him back eventually, when they could. Even if they couldn't, however, it wouldn't bother him. He was from Georgia, feeding people was a social necessity and money was the only way he could do so.

Braig snickered, and Dilan said seriously, "He's teasing, Maya." because sometimes things went over his head. Often. Often things went over his head.

"The kitchen isn't a mess..." the big man said after that, "we should make Pierce carry in the bags from the next shopping trip all by himself."
