Oh those lovely lawsuits

Aya reached out to slap her alarm clock and pulled the covers over her head. She really didn't want to get out of bed today. The very idea of going into the courtroom scared her. Yes, she'd have to get over that eventually, but suing...suing just gave her the creeps. It felt like things were out of hand. Out of control.

She hated that feeling.

That meant she wanted to stay in bed. Sadly, she could smell coffee. And the snooze button wasn't where it was suppose to be...in fact, her alarm wasn't where it was suppose to be. "The hell?" she muttered from within the blankets.

"Then we'll all order from there. It keeps down the delivery collisions." they'd had spilled pizza and greek at the door before. It hadn't been pretty. Scrubbing the doorstep had taken a good half of Dilan's favored cleaners too.

"Works." Dilan says, smug at getting his way. Braig laughs and waves his hands, "Aya, you know what I like. I'll get the ice cream back in the freezer and set up the movies."

"Is this you kicking us out of the car?" she grinned and eyed the upcoming stop light.

"This is me giving you your marching orders when we get home." Braig says happily.

"But I worked so hard for that apartment!" she mock-whined, leaned over to kiss Braig's cheek. It would totally be a shorter walk if they bailed out now...

He laughs and says, "Do you want to hop out? I can park and catch up."

[mitochondriaaya]

"No, you don't get to park, ice cream will melt!' she pointed out. "Dilan?" she'd leave it up to him...he'd be carrying more on the walk home.

Dilan just laughs, "I'll get the ice cream and the movies, you get the door open, and you go park."

[mitochondriaaya]

"A plan!" she grinned and popped out of the car, pulling open Dilan's with a grin. She could do doors!

Dilan hops out with his tasks and heads for Aya's with ground-eating strides, "Run, monkey!"

"Ack!" she said succinctly before dashing ahead of Dilan for the complex door. "You and your stupid long legs!"

"You love my long legs! They get us to the front of lines more than short oens."

[mitochondriaaya]

"And 'cause you're sexy in heels." she laughed, then laughed more at the middle aged couple coming out of her apartment complex that caught the comment. "One of us has to be, Braig and I don't quite pull it off."

"Well, yeah." Dilan smiles sweetly at the couple and says, "Theatre minor." completely straight-faced.

[mitochondriaaya]

"He does a wicked Dr. Frank-N-Furter." Aya confided, as the couple picked up speed in their exit "I'll put up flyers!" she called to the closing doors.

He pokes her, "Hey. Usually I'm Rocky."

YOU KNOW SUDDENLY THE FACT THAT ALL THE FEMALES IN THAT GROUP UNANIMOUSLY DECIDED THAT HE SHOULD RUN AROUND IN GOLD TIGHTIES MAKES MORE SENSE.

"Well, yeah, but the blond wig looks so weird." Aya shrugged. Besides, she didn't want her neighbors imagining him in a gold speedo. Nope.

YEAH...PLUS ROCKY DIDN'T HAVE TO SING.

"The college's group decided that Rocky was my species in our group." he says with a sigh.

DOES TOO. ONE SONG, ONE VERSE. HE'S GIVEN A BEER BEFORE HIS NUMBER.

"Well, that saves some of the weirdness." Aya admitted "It's cause you've got the build for it. You're doomed." cheerfully doomed but!

"They wax me." he says, sighing, "And we've got another show next week, so say good bye to my body hair."

Aya reached out to pet Dilan's arm and yes, said "Goodbye body hair." in a mournful tone. "You put up with waaaay too much sometimes."

"Yeah, well, they pay for it and I'm so going to take advantage of that come surf season."

[mitochondriaaya]

"Okay, that's fair." she admitted, holding the elevator doors "And kinda sneaky. The salon back home will be disappointed though."

"Nah." he says with a sweet smile, "They give me vouchers."

[mitochondriaaya]

"They make waxing vouchers?" that was just so weird in her mind. "Like little colored coupons?!" to have people pour hot wax on you and pull it off painfully! Who knew?!
