Aya stormed through the door and screamed in rage, kicking her school bag ahead of her because it was safe to kick. Seriously, her backpack wouldn't explode.

"Calm down!" Maya sighed, closing the door behind her sister. "We fixed it. And if you kick that bag anymore you'll have to shopping for a new one. You hate shopping."

"DON'T BE REASONABLE AT ME!"

"OKAY FINE!" Maya grumped and booted her sister's bag back at her. "So what do we do?"

"...COOKIES."

Maya nodded, toeing her shoes off before tackling her sister. "Like you could make cookies in this state!"

"COULD TOO!"

It was a sibling thing okay?

"Yes, but Cutie Marks are what you love, dear, what calls to you. Think about it okay?" Maya asked.

Aya nodded, 'And yeah, I know, run it through additional machines you have and we'll figure the best course of action."

"Oh. Then just DNA. It's the most fun part of science. I'm going to make dinner when you're done here."

Braig smiled wryly and said, "Should I go up to the clinic?"

"Duly noted!" Maya laughed.

"You," Aya chuckled, "should take a shower. A retro viral won't cause enough damage in twenty minutes that we can't fix and by then Dilan's own tests will be done."

"Shower!" he laughed and headed for the hot water, while Dilan went down to start his tests with a soft hum.

"Shoo shoo, scream if your leg buckles!" JUST IN CASE! Otherwise the man was welcome (and encouraged) to shower alone right now yes.

The girls had a few more tests to finish out themselves honestly. That and a kitchen to scrub down properly again! They wouldn't get it to Dilan levels, naturally, but they could atomize a medical surface with the best of them and Dilan could come in behind them!

Dilan came wandering back up when his tests were done and handed them to the first twin he passed, "Thank you for cleaning up." he informed them without so much as a quiver in his voice; his tests had all come back as hoped for, so he was able to go straight into cleaning.

"This is good," Maya grinned, laying a hand on Dilan's shoulder a moment before packing the rest of her things away. "Though he needs about a week of supplements to counter the stress on his body..."

"Making them a chewable gummie has made them easier on Olia systems!" Aya grinned easily. "So hopefully he won't hate us!"

"He won't hate you." Dilan said, blinking slowly, "Braig thinks that the two of you are really nice."

[mitochondriaaya]

"But if what we have to feed him for a week messes with his stomach he may hate us in general!" Maya noted cheerfully. "It's a risk of being a doctor!"

"I don't think so." he started to sound distressed, hate was a very strong word and it made him uncomfortable to have them talk about being hated.

Aya glanced at Dilan when that note entered his voice then shot a hand signal at her sister. Some quick thinking then..."Dian, we can be imprecise, sorry, it's not the correct term. We're just joking about the idea Braig could be really grumpy at us because joking about it helps us prepare for the possibility. We know he wouldn't hate us."

"Oh." that made him relax, quite a bit. He really wasn't good with imprecise language when it came to emotions...he wasn't really good at emotions. He tried, though, and he really cared that the girls would teach him when he was lost.

[mitochondriaaya]

"People will use that term a lot when they're joking because they know someone they care about won't hate them, it's almost a way of playing with people you care about. Like when Maya chased me with pillows, screaming at me when I tickled her too much. She didn't hate me, but it was a fun bit of drama."

"I don't understand that kind of thing." he said, unnecessarily, "Thank you for trying to explain. It's okay to ask if I think you're joking, right?"

[mitochondriaaya]

"Of course," Aya grinned. "You can always ask us questions....sometimes, like if we're in a tense situation with outsiders, it may be best to wait until the situation is resolved, but outside circumstances like that never hesitate!"

"Tense situations require different actions." he said, nodding, "That's something I understand. I just have to wait until I know if I should kill someone or not then." He had survived this long at KHAOS. He knew how to deal with tense situations.

[mitochondriaaya]

"Yes, that and we can miss questions yelled across a battlefield and that would be sad," Aya chuckled. "Anyway, we're going to whip up some of the necessary nutrient gummies for Braig, you're going to start dinner, then once started you can check on Braig and make sure he's not in need of help out of the shower!' Because that should give just enough time to allow Braig out of the shower on his own!

Dilan nodded and turned towards making dinner. It was better now that he knew what to do. It was always better when he knew what to do...especially when "science it" was off the table. "Okay. He doesn't like the orange flavour."

[mitochondriaaya]

"We remember!" Aya promised easily, grinning. "And we're not satisfied with the grape so he gets all but orange and purple being made!"

"He'll need some meat tonight, at least a serving, well cooked, you know how to take care of him!" Maya added.

"Make lots of the green. He likes those best." Dilan said, nodding and turning to the 'fridge to see what meat he had available. Rabbit, no. Too hard to digest. That for himself. Chicken easiest to digest, but... "Should he have fowl or should it be beef?" Dilan asked, sliding the rabbit into a pan to soak up some sherry before slicing vegetables.

"...beef," Aya decided after a moment. "He took a pretty heavy wound, which means blood loss as well as protein needs. Chicken for breakfast maybe? If you can slow cook it tonight?" That would break the protein down further and make it easier on Braig!

"I can do that." he agreed, dumping a chicken into one of the crockpots...somewhere along the line he'd ended up with four of them. One lived in the lab. "Hmmm. I should develop a line of mini-cows that can get more exercise than the big ones do. Might help with..." he wandered off into his own little world of SCIENCE and food.

[mitochondriaaya]

"Sheeva might like getting to chase mini cows around..." Aya laughed and left him to it. The girls had one of the upstairs rooms as a lab for themselves, and they had everything they needed to slap together the gummies for Braig.

Maya was already there, cleaning their test equipment and restocking their kits. Best to have things ready for next time after all.

"We still probably don't have enough room for them." he said contemplatively, "Even little cows need a lot of space."

'How much space WOULD we need for mini cows?" Aya called down the stairs curiously. "I know we can't set aside a lot of space but I'm curious, not pushing for them!"
